This year's NeoCon, held at Merchandise Mart in Chicago, was alive with a variety of trends. One invention pushing the market was BuzziHood, a private, quiet space right in the office.
The Belgium-based company, BuzziSpace, has introduced the wall-mounted booth where workers can make calls in complete silence, CBSlocal.com reports. In noisy office surroundings, this is an option for those who do not want their calls heard. No sound penetrates in or out.
“The BuzziHood, which is our phone booth, is really derived from the public phone cells, which we don’t see in the streets anymore,” said Daniel Verlooven, European sales director for BuzziSpace.
Verlooven said Facebook and Google have recently bought BuzziHoods for their offices.
