It’s no secret that the current economic situation has added huge pricing pressures to the marketplace for custom work. As competition for scarce jobs increases, so do the number of bidders trying to win work solely on the basis of price. Results from the 2009 Pricing Survey reflect those pressures, but also they suggest some basic truths that should help shops get an edge on the competition.
